Call for Papers


All authors are invited to submit their papers here on the ProDPM’19 EasyChair Account.

Each paper must be formatted according to the Springer Guidelines for Authors of Proceedings.

Deadline for the submission of the full papers composed of 6 pages maximum – June 3rd, 2019


All paper submissions will be peer reviewed. The registered and presented papers will be published into ProDPM’19 Conference Proceedings "Progress on Digital and Physical Manufacturing", published by Springer under the book series "Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering", which is indexed by Elsevier Scopus and will be delivered to the delegates at the conference registration desk.

Conference Awards:

The Best Paper Award will be awarded to authors whose work represents groundbreaking research in their respective areas with a printed copy of the "Wohlers Report 2019" sponsored by Wohlers Associates.
This Award was given to the authors Uwe Klaeger and Andriy Telesh on their work entitled “Novel robot based 3D-printing technology for the production of large parts”.

The Best Young Researcher Award will be awarded to young researchers, considering both the paper quality (assessed by the Scientific Committee) and the oral presentation quality (feedback given by session chairs at the conference venue), with free access to the Rapid Prototyping Journal for three months (up to a max. of 40 downloads) sponsored by Emerald Publishing.
This Award was given to the authors Daniel Eisenbarth, Fabian Soffel and Konrad Wegener on their work entitled “Geometry-based process adaption to fabricate parts with varying wall thickness by direct metal deposition”.

The Best Industrial Award will be awarded to authors whose applied research represents a significant scientific/technical contribution towards the industrial community with a prize from Trumpf.
This Award was given to the authors Satoru Asai, Yosuke Ogino, Kazufumi Nomura and Kazunori Hattori on their work entitled “Study on the On-line Support System for Welder”.
